These savvy companies know that if they do NOT manufacture in China... their competitors will. 

Here is a country with a growing workforce willing to work for a fraction of the wages workers in the West are asking for. Over the past few decades, China has built up the infrastructure to produce ANYTHING... from mobile phones to clothing.

China Can Produce Goods Cheaper

Than ANY Other Country In The World!

That’s why the biggest brands such as Apple and Sony set up factories and get their products manufactured “under contract” in China.

But it is not only the big companies that do so.

Mid-sized and smaller companies engage in what is known as “private labeling”... which is the practice of sticking their own brand names onto products made by Chinese manufacturers.  

Some of these companies don’t even have their own manufacturing plants... All they do is to look for manufacturers who can produce what they want and place their own brand on it!

Here’s the truth – Because the Chinese are so desperate to grow their economy, almost ANYTHING that is currently produced in your home country can be “Made In China” for at least half the price. Savings of up to 70% or even 90% are typical.

I’m telling you this for two important reasons.

First, I want you to realize that if you’re currently paying a premium for an item in your home country... it is either because you are having it locally produced or that you are going through a supplier that is charging a handsome “mark-up” on something that is imported dirt-cheap in China.

Second, this means that no matter what business you’re in... A highly lucrative opportunity exists for you to take advantage of this pricing difference. You can either source for supplies cheaply from China for your current business and lower your costs... or import products for resale in your home country at a profit.

 

A Word Of Warning...

 

Since “importing from China” is such a lucrative topic... Most people out there claim to know how it is done... so they can charge you for teaching you how to do so.


It always amuses me that these guys claiming to be “experts” in “importing from China” can’t even speak a WORD of the Chinese language, and yet they claim to know how to “negotiate” with local suppliers!

I’m telling you this from my own personal experience.

When I first wanted to import a few in-dash DVD players from China in 2007, I bought and read almost every single course out there about importing products from China. Every single writer claimed to be an “expert” in this field, and promised that if I would just “follow his steps”... those in-dash DVD players would arrive cheaply at my doorsteps.

What followed was the most agonizing experience of my adult life. When I tried to take all the “textbook knowledge” I had learnt into the real world... I was met with a RUDE shock.

 

 I could not even get a SINGLE supplier to reply to my emails... because my order quantity was way below their minimum! (I eventually learned a sneaky technique to work around this... which I’ll share below.)

 

Those who did respond to my enquiries were not manufacturers at all. Instead, they were simply wholesalers... people who ordered in large quantities from the manufacturers so they could resell these products at a profit.

 

Now, 95% of the websites out there claiming to teach you how to “import from China” are actually trying to sell you listings of wholesalers and a bunch of outdated techniques. This is NOT what importing from China is about... and you definitely will NOT be able to get the best price. In fact, you may not even find what you want!

 

REAL importing of goods from China (as I’ve realized) is about:

  1. Getting your desired products DIRECT from the manufacturer – By doing so, you effectively bypass any middlemen, wholesalers, resellers and deal only with the FACTORY that produces the goods.

  1. Since you’re dealing DIRECTLY with the manufacturer, you have complete control over the terms. For example, you can “private label” the products with your own brand. Or you can have the factory “drop ship” these goods direct to your customers. You can also request for a sample before you order.

  1. You get the absolute BEST price since you’re dealing with the source.

But there’s a problem... the ONLY people who can teach the “tips and tricks” of the importing trade...

 

Are The Chinese Themselves!

 

Let’s be frank.

 

The Chinese are the ones running the factories, producing the goods and getting them shipped overseas. They are the ones who speak the language. If there is anyone to learn from about “importing from China”... it would have to be the Chinese themselves!
